What is the Open Circle?

The Open Circle is a registered NPO group home catering for adults with  Intellectual Disability and Challenging Behaviour.

Vision & Mission

The OpRed Dress cropen Circle strives to provide a safe, nurturing and therapeutic residential home to people with Intellectual Disability requiring medium to high levels of support for varied challenging behaviors. We endeavor to limit and manage behavior in order that residents may achieve their unique potential and have a fulfilling life.

Who  do we Assist?

The people who call The Open Circle their home are men and women older than 18 years, who have an Intellectual Disability and other associated disorders which may include Autism, Genetic problems like Down’s Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and even Psychiatric problems including Psychosis. Our residents further display one or more types of challenging behavior which may include: destruction, aggression, obsessions and compulsions, anxiety, sexually inappropriate behaviour, self-injurious behavior, etc. Most of our residents have been excluded from existing residential facilities, due to their challenging behavior and therefor The Open Circle is the first of its kind.
